Fight Fear with Faith (The Word)





1 Timothy 6:12

Fight the good fight of faith lay hold on eternal life, whereunto you were also called, and confessed a good confession before many witnesses.


Let us hold fast the confession of our faith without wavering; for God who promised is faithful.

Romans 10:23


2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.


And Adam said, I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. Genesis 3:10


Wherefore, as by one man (Adam), sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.


Romans 5:12

Therefore as by the offence (the disobedience) of one (man Adam), judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one (man Jesus Christ) the free gift (of eternal life) came upon all men unto justification of life. Romans 5:18


2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us the spirit of /*/fear/*/; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

b. What kind of spirit do we have? The spirit of *power The spirit of love

c. How and Why do we have the spirit of /power, love and a sound mind?


1 Corinthians 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord *is *one spirit.


a. We have the same spirit of faith


We having the same spirit of *faith*, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak. (2 Cor 4:13)


b. We are /born again of the word which is the faith of God Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever. (1 Peter 1:23)


For you have not received *the spirit of bondage again to fear*; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (Romans 8:15)


For which cause we faint not; but though our *outward man our body perish, yet the *inward man you: the spirit man is renewed day by day. (2 Corinthians 4:16)
